My Roots

A Life of Leadership, Service & Empowerment

“From grassroots beginnings to community champion— My journey is powered by purpose.”

Rooted in Hawai‘i, Inspired by Community

From the shores of Hawai‘i Kai to the lively streets of Kaimukī, through Waimānalo’s warm embrace, the heart of Waikīkī, and the quiet valleys of Nu‘uanu, I’ve been fortunate to call many corners of O‘ahu home. But it’s here, in District 26: Makiki, Punchbowl, Papakōlea, and Tantalus, where I’ve genuinely come to understand what community means.

Community is more than a place on a map; it’s the story of our families, neighbors, and shared experiences. It’s people standing together through challenges and triumphs, caring for one another, and believing that everyone deserves to be heard and valued.

A Life of Service and Leadership

My passion for public service began early, from student government at ‘Āina Haina Elementary and Kaiser High School to serving as Student Body President at Kapi‘olani Community College. I learned that leadership starts with listening, and that when people come together around shared goals, real progress follows.

Throughout my life, I’ve been deeply involved in strengthening our communities, organizing fundraisers, mentoring youth, supporting cultural programs, and coordinating emergency response efforts during natural disasters. These experiences have shaped my belief that Hawai‘i’s greatest strength lies in our ability to care for one another and work together for the greater good.

Resilience, Empathy, and Commitment

Like many in our islands, I’ve faced moments that required courage, faith, and perseverance. Those experiences taught me empathy and the importance of standing up for others. They guide my approach to leadership today, one grounded in understanding, humility, and action.

I’ve seen firsthand how unity and compassion can overcome adversity. Whether rebuilding after a storm or helping a neighbor in need, I believe the measure of leadership is found in service to others.

A Vision for Hawai‘i’s Future

I’m running to represent District 26 because I believe in a Hawai‘i where everyone can thrive, where our kūpuna are cared for, our keiki have opportunities to learn and grow, and our working families can afford to stay rooted in the place they love.

Together, we can:

  • Expand affordable housing so families can remain in their communities

  • Invest in education and safe, supportive schools

  • Protect our environment and ensure clean, vibrant parks for all

  • Strengthen trust and accountability in government

This campaign is about unity, building bridges across differences, and creating solutions that lift everyone.

Together, We Rise

I am here to serve every neighbor, every family, and every voice in District 26. When we rise together as one community, no challenge is too great and no dream is out of reach.

This journey continues, but it is not the only reason I am running. I am running to advocate for all of our people, our residents born and raised in Hawai‘i, the families who work tirelessly to build a better life, our kūpuna who carry the wisdom of generations, and the keiki whose futures depend on the decisions we make today.

I am committed to standing up for every neighbor, every community, and every voice, because authentic leadership means fighting for everyone’s right to be safe, heard, and valued. This campaign is about unity, about building bridges across differences, and about creating solutions that lift us all together.

I am here to serve all of District 26 and beyond, because when we rise as one, no challenge is too great, and no dream is out of reach. This campaign is about us, our stories, our hopes, and our shared future. I ask for your trust to carry our collective vision forward. Because when we unite, there is no challenge too great, no goal beyond reach. Together, we can build the Hawai‘i we all deserve.

VISION

A Fresh Perspective for Inclusive Progress

"My goal is to be a bold, responsive voice for the people of Hawai‘i State House District 26—one that listens with compassion, leads with integrity, and delivers real results. I’m running to restore trust in government, protect the dignity of every resident, and fight for affordable housing, safe neighborhoods, and opportunities that uplift our keiki, kūpuna, and working families. Together, we will build a more just, inclusive, and resilient Hawai‘i—because our future starts with leadership that puts people first."
